An
incredible once in a lifetime opportunity happened when a huge pod of Orca
whales passed off shore of our local Metchosin beach. My family
stood side by side holding hands, realizing this was a very precious
occurrence to have experienced.
The
inspiration for "Future Generations" were the powerful feelings
that washed over us; that if human beings don't become more aware of our
actions and the tragic fact that the whale populations are dwindling, our
children and their children may never share the magical sightings of these
beautiful creatures of the sea.
