Beach glass or sea glass is glass that has been sculpted by the wind, waves and sand into smooth, elegant forms.  This glass was handpicked, (with much enthusiasm!), by my family, from a seemingly endless supply on our beautiful West Coast beaches.  We’ve transformed our treasures into gorgeous, vases and glowing candle votives, which are absolutely mesmerizing after dark, or even in sunlight.  The colors are beautiful, and the pieces containing design or writing really makes you wonder what the beach glass used to be, how old it is, or where it came from.  Some of my votives also contain broken safety windows from automobiles, which when lit from behind; show its delicate lines and beautiful hue.  Recycle- it’s amazing what can come back to life in art!
