Inspiration:
When I came across these silver lamp bases, they had to become a
woman's breasts. The silver hue inspired the tranquility of a
moonlit night, with a woman in a peaceful meditative state.
With
this particular mosaic the starry sky and moon glows in the dark (via
luminescent paint behind glass tiles), except the black silhouette of the
woman's body. It is quite a stunning and magical effect, which
throws the mosaic into a different dimension when you turn off your
lights. When using the candlelight in the sconce built within the
art, it flickers and glows on all the mirror and reflective glass.
This work of art is intended to inspire and support the practice of
relaxation through meditation, which in turn will improve your health,
state of mind and quality of life.
